When a scene is expected to be short, is it limited in scope? How big can a story grow in a few minutes? What are the limits and how can they inspire us? 

In this workshop, we use story structures that give us room to create in spite of the ticking clock.  

About the teacher

Jacob Banigan has been improvising for over 30 years. In Edmonton, Canada, Jacob served as Artistic Director of Rapid Fire Theatre for ten seasons. He performs, writes and directs scripted theater, and has experience in film and TV production. Banigan directed the award-winning Kabarett show Bis Morgen! with BlöZinger. Jacob is an ensemble member of Theater im Bahnhof in Graz, English Lovers in Vienna, and Rocket Sugar Factory everywhere. He has traveled extensively teaching and performing improv around the world.
