Our 3 most popular programs

1. Teambuilding

The act of improvising on stage is typically not done alone, but by a group of performers who are inspired by and support each other to create a meaningful and entertaining story. Improvisers use exercises that train certain soft skills to hone their craft, skills which are precisely the same as those a great team should have.

In this improv-inspired teambuilding, we will embrace mistakes, learn to listen with the willingness to change and witness the magic that happens when we build upon each others’ ideas rather than shoot them down. By the end of the session, your team will come out stronger and more connected. Get ready to have heaps of fun and laugh until your sides hurt!

2. Communications

Skilful speakers are master storytellers. They know how to capture their audience’s imagination both with their content and with their delivery. What makes them great communicators is their ability to influence others through the perfect harmony between their message and delivery and reading of their audience.

This session will teach you the secrets improvisers use to communicate with impact; you will come out of this session more confident in your speaking ability, whether to a large conference room of 400 people, on camera or in smaller meetings with colleagues, clients or other collaborators. You will also get personalised feedback, practical tips and specific exercises to continue honing your skills.

3. Leadership

The list of attributes a good leader should have is long and can often seem almost paradoxical: Leaders must be able to take charge and make tough decisions, but also listen to their team; they need to find comfort in uncomfortable situations, yet enhance a nurturing work environment; embrace mistakes and learn from them, yet strive for excellence; encourage their team to get things done on time rather than be perfect, yet provide a quality service.

The soft skills such aspirations rely on, such as confidence, empathy, resilience, listening and communicating effectively happen to also be those nurtured through the practice of theatrical improvisation.

Aside from coming out with a series of insights directly applicable to your work, come prepared to laugh and to stop taking yourself so seriously. Because in the end, leaders who allow themselves to be authentic are the ones who stand out.

Some teams we have helped

ImproBubble was a real discovery. We chose it because we wanted to do something different that would bring colleagues together, be fun at the same time and would involve everyone - from the managers to the interns - on an equal footing.

We were unsure how our colleagues would react. We needn’t have worried. Everybody LOVED it! Asked why, colleagues said it was a lot of fun, even hilarious at times and we laughed so much! We were doing things together, in different groups and formats and learned a lot in a fun way about communication, leadership, and collaborative working. We did not talk about our daily work. Rather, we learned things about one other and ourselves. And most importantly: everybody felt comfortable. Well done to Kelly Agathos and the team at ImproBubble! I can’t recommend them enough.
