As improvisers, we're used to using our bodies to tell a story. In this lab, the challenge is not to constantly talk or give dialogue, but become "foley artists" (foley: the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films). To be able to use our bodies and our voices to create a fully immersive oral experience for the audience. You don't need to be able to "see" to watch this. We are all together in the dark.

NB this is a lab to workshop the show format ‘‘In the Dark’’, premiering in Lisbon in July 2024 and which you will practice in the lab with your director. This is the show description:

In your little pocket of the world the sun never rises but life, people, jobs, the world continue to go on, you just can't "see it." They live surrounded by music and noise, in a place created only for your imagination. We invite you to use your ears instead, to listen in and be a voyeur to a story and characters created for your listening pleasure. Be advised, this show is an immersive musical and audio experience, the characters are all around you and this tale is meant to be heard, not seen.
